The Amazing Spider-Man, Locke, and MORE!

UtahWho wants some MWK quick reviews?

Well let’s do this!

“BRICK MANSIONS”: Great to see Paul Walker back in my life. Love him as an actor. Movie is not too awesome though. The other “tough guy” in the film looks too much like Ted (Josh Radnor) from “How I Met Your Mother” (and we all know he ain’t tough.) I gave this film 2 out of 5 stars.

“THE OTHER WOMAN”: Corny and cute. Kinda right up my alley. Cameron Diaz was fine, Leslie Mann was fine, and Kate Upton was FINE!!! Feel good chick flick film… 3 out of 5 stars.

“LOCKE”: Tom Hardy is a one man wrecking crew… and he has to be. He’s the only person in the movie. I can’t say much more except that you got to see it. (especially you Tom Hardy fans.)… 4.5 out of 5 stars.

“THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2”: Better than Part 1. I like Andrew Garfield’s Spidey more than Tobey’s. (He’s more sarcastic and funny… Plus, we have the same exact quilt on our beds.) The story is a tad messy, but so what, I was entertained… 3.5 out of 5 stars.

“WALK OF SHAME”: Who hasn’t done the walk of shame in their lives. I know I have, a lot. Fun story starring Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden. I thought it would be terrible, but it wasn’t. Pleasantly surprised… 2.5 out of 5 stars.

“NEIGHBORS”: I though this film was marketed too hard. They put too much of the film in the commercials. That being said, what wasn’t in the commercials was hilarious. I’m a big fan of Seth Rogen so how could i not like it? Big standout of the movie: Dave Franco… and Rose Byrne.

And there you have it. We just blasted through six films like Luke Skywalker through the Death Star.

Happy Mother’s Day, and may the Force be with you… always.

Fondly,

Matty W. Kelley, A Seat Apart Productions, reporting.
